About Us

We opened our doors in beautiful downtown Fredericton in 2001. We are located in an historic house that provides a wonderful "home away from home" feeling. The lovely old house as well as the smell of our fabulous cook Leonora's homemade cooking welcomes you daily.

Our Early Childhood Educators all hold college accreditation, a university education degree or are currently enrolled in course work towards it. We have excellent continuity at our center with an average number of years spent as part of our team being 9.

We follow the provincially mandated New Brunswick Early Childhood Emergent Curriculum. It is a child led, interest inspired curriculum. It focuses on the emotional, social and intellectual development of the whole child. The creative, mathematical, and pre-literacy skills being practised by the children are inherent to the activity and area of discovery and exploration the children have expressed an interest in. The milestones the children achieve are noted and recorded primarily in anecdotal and pictorial forms.
